New Saturday Hours:
Our weekday
studio hours will remain the same, but our weekend
hours on Saturday are changed to 11am-3pm.

Facebook:
Well, changing times mean changing
notifications. We are proud to introduce our new Facebook page.
“Like” us on Facebook and receive notifications of special
Facebook sales, classes, and information. We are also currently wading
through our large newsletter list. Please let us know via Facebook, e-mail,
mail, or phone if you are still interested in receiving our newsletter. If
we do not hear from you, you will removed from our list. We don’t want to
lose you, so please respond some way.

Kid’s Classes:
Despite what many may think…
Glass can be a fun activity for kids too! Many of our classes are kid
friendly (some adult guidance may be necessary based on age.) Just ask to
see if your child can join us for a class.
However, we are also offering an entirely kid-friendly class
over the Spring Break period. Bring your child in and enjoy some relaxing
creative time together.

Skinny
Chicken Glass Exhibition
March 3-24, 2012VGW’s annual glass show exhibiting fellow glass
craftspeople’s proud projects. All skill levels are welcome to
participate. Any type of glasswork is also accepted. Though this is a
friendly competition, for fun, we have added the Skinny Chicken Popular
Choice award. Drop in anytime to vote for your favorite. Also, new this
year, votes and photos of entries will be available online. Online votes
will be limited to one per address, but there is no limit to in store
voting. Show off your proud piece and maybe with the coveted Skinny Chicken

Saturday Open Table Time
Got a Saturday all to yourself? Maybe you just need a place to get out and
spread out your glass project… Well, we would love for you to join us from
12-2:30 pm on a few designated Saturdays to use our tables for some table
time and maybe gather a little instruction if needed.
Your project can be in the works or we can help you pick one
out. This project maybe stained glass, a lamp, leaded glass, or even a fused
glass project. Whatever it is, we want you to join us. Specials for glass
firing will apply to projects created during table time. Please bring your
own tools, but glass grinders will be available for use in the studio.
Sign up for as many dates as you would like. Each Saturday
Table time is $15 per session.
